Sweet and sour ribs

Sweet and sour ribs is a familiar dish with family meal. It use to eat with rice as chopped pieces to taste. The ribs are chewy, aromatic and soaked in the spice sauce, sweet and salty vinegar, making the dish to change the taste of the whole family is reasonable. Let’s learn how to cook sweet and sour ribs.

Raw materials to make sweet and sour ribs :

  • Pork ribs 600 gr
  • 3 tbsp fish sauce
  • White sugar 4 tbsp
  • Vinegar 4 tablespoons
  • Monosodium glutamate 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper 1/3 teaspoon
  • 2 shallots
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • Scallions 2 branches
  • Cooking oil 2 tablespoons

Step 1:

Ribs bought then cut into pieces to eat, then put a little salt on squeeze and then wash again to clean. Shredded shallots. Scallions washed, chopped.

Step 2:

Boil 1 pot of boiling water, then put the ribs into then take out and drain. In a small bowl, mix vinegar, sugar, fish sauce, seasoning seeds, pepper, MSG and tomato sauce.

Step 3:

Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, arrange ribs in pan, fry until turn golden brown, then scoop out.

Step 4:

Still using that saucepan, add chopped shallots into the pan and stir-fry, then add the bowl of sauce and bring to the boil. Stir well and add 1/2 cup small water, cover, the sauce is softly cooked, sprinkle a little green onion on top and turn off the stove.
